Turns out I’m completely wrong. Toads and geckos aren’t the only creatures found in Australia. A day trip to sea world showed me how wrong I was. Our first animal that we found was a polar bear. Yep. Not a local, but seemed to be quite happy hanging out with his pals and even one of the local seagulls.
His bud was trying to get the attention of a few spectators on the other side of the pool…
We popped round to have a look and watch him complete a few minutes of polar bear paddle. He looked surprisingly cuddly… But would no doubt show you how sharp his claws were if the glass broke…
Next stop. Dolphins. Cute little things with enough muscle to jump meters up in the air, catapulting their trainers even higher while they’re at it. Smiling all the way through it. Must be the tasty dolphin food they get fed after ever trick. Fish it seems are extremely tasty and worth a bit of acrobatics.
After seeing all the fun these guys were having we then headed over to a couple of the rides… Then a quick peek at some more sea creatures bumbling along…
… Before we ended the day watching a couple of guys show us how we’re supposed to handle a jet ski. Which apparently you can ride without arms?
