Kangaroo spotting

So you get to see the start of a wildlife spotting weekend. Simon managed to ensure we got to see all the native Australian animals in a mere 3 days. We started on Friday with a short drive to the local kangaroo hangout. They seem to like hopping, eating grass and scratching. They also have a habit of staring at us like meerkats when we get within eyeshot. Despite popular belief, not one of them had a pair of boxing gloves… But they did respond well when we called for skippy…??

You can see how much the little joeys love hanging out in the pouch. To the point where they can be seen enjoying a tasty dinner in bed. Can’t blame them. Especially when you know there may be camera men about.
