So seeing as I’ve made little effort to get any posts up recently, to avoid any more delays I thought I’d just post a few scenery shots.
You see when I join a ship it takes me a few days to figure out what exactly is going on even though I’ve worked on them before. It basically means I avoid leaving the medical centre for a few days until I’m happy. Since we’re sailing round French Polynesia though, I really don’t have any excuses to get some pics from the ship.
Thankfully a month in Australia did prepare me a little for the temperatures I was going to find myself with. There seems to be a little more fluid in the air here. Along with a few more flying insects. However, I haven’t noticed any animals that would want to eat me. So far so good. But as you can see… I’m safely sat on the ship…
Moorea is as good a place as any to start this little slide show…
So I guess you have the jist that this place is quite pretty.
That last photo in Moorea… You can just about make out a hole in the top of the mountain. According to the locals… That was caused by one of the gods throwing a javelin. Not sure why he chose that mountain…?
Next stop we come to Nuku Hiva. More scenery shots from the ship I’m afraid…
Have no information to impart on this port. It’s the first time the ship has sailed here and it’s quite mini…
Now I know scenery pics are probably not what you want. But it’s all I have from the 1st week onboard…
However, I do promise to make it more interesting in the posts to come…
I have since been off the ship… Where I met some sting rays and sharks, climbed a small mountain (after running away from the locals), and had the pleasure of being escorted out of areas I shouldn’t have been…
WOW!! looks bloody hot and gorgeous!
Too Hot Tommy!!!
Sure will!!!
