So it turns out the wildlife is a little different from the English lot. They also have a bit of a temper on them if you accidentally tread on their little creature feet. Toads… Which I always thought were quite tame and friendly little slimy things have got quite the reach with their poison spray if they don’t like you. Granted I had unintentionally swiped the side of his foot as I was walking to the car but the reaction was spectacular. He ambled off pretty sharpish so didn’t manage a pic but I got a snap of his mate.
You also have to watch out for geckos. They’re actually kinda cool since they eat spiders. Seeing as we have a shortage of cats out here I guess they’re the next best thing to keeping you safe at night.
